James 5:14-20
14Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for 1the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, 23anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 15and the 4prayer 5offered in faith will 67restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will 8raise him up, and if he has committed sins, 9they will be forgiven him. 16Therefore, 10confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be 11healed. 12The effective 13prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. 17Elijah was 14a man with a nature like ours, and 15he prayed 16earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for 17three years and six months. 18Then he 18prayed again, and 19the 20sky 21poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.
19My brethren, 22if any among you strays from 23the truth and one turns him back, 20let him know that 24he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will 25save his soul from death and will 26cover a multitude of sins.
