James 4:6-10
6But 1He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “2God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 73Submit therefore to God. But 45resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 86Come close to God and He will come close to you. 7Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and 8purify your hearts, you 910double-minded. 911Be miserable, and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into gloom. 1012Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
