Genesis 17:3-8
3Abram 1fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,4“As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, And you will be the father of a 2multitude of nations.5No longer shall you be named 3Abram, But 4your name shall be 5Abraham; For 6I have made you the father of a multitude of nations. 6I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and 7kings will come from you. 7I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your 8descendants after you throughout their generations as an 9everlasting covenant, 10to be God to you and 11to your 12descendants after you. 8And 13I will give to you and to your 14descendants after you the land where you live as a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and 15I will be their God.”
