221The sons of Shem were 2Elam, Asshur, 3Arpachshad, 4Lud, and Aram.
23The sons of Aram were 5Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
24Arpachshad fathered 6Shelah; and Shelah fathered Eber.
257Two sons were born to Eber; the name of the one was 8Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
26Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
27Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
29Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab; all of these were the sons of Joktan.
