Genesis 1:3-8
3Then 1God said, “2Let there be light”; and there was light. 4God saw that the light was 3good; and God 4separated the light from the darkness. 55God called the light “day,” and the darkness He called “night.” And 6there was evening and there was morning, one day.
6Then God said, “Let there be 7an 8expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” 7God made the 9expanse, and separated 10the waters that were below the 11expanse from the waters 12that were above the 13expanse; and it was so. 8God called the 14expanse “heaven.” And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.
