Genesis 1:2-5

2And the earth was a 12formless and desolate emptiness, and 3darkness was over the 4surface of the deep, and 5the Spirit of God 6was hovering over the 7surface of the waters. 3Then 8God said, “9Let there be light”; and there was light. 4God saw that the light was 10good; and God 11separated the light from the darkness. 512God called the light “day,” and the darkness He called “night.” And 13there was evening and there was morning, one day.
