Genesis 1:14-18
14Then God said, “Let there be 12lights in the 34expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and they shall 5serve as 6signs and for 7seasons, and for days and years;
15and they 8shall serve as lights in the 9expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so.
16God made the two great lights, the 10greater light 11to govern the day, and the lesser light 12to govern the night; He made 13the stars also.
1714God placed them in the 15expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,
18and 16to 17govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good.
