Galatians 3:7-14
7Therefore, recognize that 1it is those who are of faith who are 2sons of Abraham. 8The Scripture, foreseeing that God 3would justify the 4Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “5All the nations will be blessed in you.” 9So then, 6those who are of faith are blessed with 7Abraham, the believer.
10For all who are of works of 8the Law are under a curse; for it is written: “9Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.” 11Now, that 10no one is justified 11by 12the Law before God is evident; for, “1314the righteous one will live by faith.” 1215However, the Law is not 16of faith; on the contrary, “17The person who performs 18them will live by 19them.” 13Christ 20redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us--for it is written: “21Cursed is everyone who hangs on 22a 23tree”-- 14in order that 24in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, so that we 25would receive 26the promise of the Spirit through faith.
