Galatians 2:2-6

21It was because of a 2revelation that I went up; and I submitted to them the 3gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but I did so in private to those who were of reputation, for fear that somehow I might be 4running, or had run, in vain.

3But not even 5Titus, who was with me, though he was a Greek, was 6compelled to be circumcised.

4Yet it was a concern because of the 7false brothers secretly brought in, who 8had sneaked in to spy on our 9freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to 10enslave us.

5But we did not yield in subjection to them, even for an hour, so that 11the truth of the gospel would remain with you.

6But from those who 12were of considerable 13repute (what they were makes no difference to me; 14God shows no favoritism)--well, those who were of repute contributed nothing to me.
