Galatians 2:2-6

21It was because of a 2revelation that I went up; and I submitted to them the 3gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but I did so in private to those who were of reputation, for fear that I might be 4running, or had run, in vain.

3But not even 5Titus, who was with me, though he was a Greek, was 6compelled to be circumcised.

4But it was because of the 7false brethren secretly brought in, who 8had sneaked in to spy out our 9liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to 10bring us into bondage.

5But we did not yield in subjection to them for even an hour, so that 11the truth of the gospel would remain with you.

6But from those who 12were of high 13reputation (what they were makes no difference to me; 14God 15shows no partiality)--well, those who were of reputation contributed nothing to me.
