Galatians 2:15-21
“We are 1Jews by nature and not 2sinners from the Gentiles;
nevertheless, knowing that 3a person is not justified by works of 4the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by 5faith in Christ and not by works of 6the Law; since 7by works of 8the Law no 9flesh will be justified.
But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found 10sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? 1112Far from it!
For if I rebuild what I have once destroyed, I 13prove myself to be a wrongdoer.
For through 14the Law I 15died to 16the Law, so that I might live for God.
I have been 17crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but 18Christ lives in me; and 19the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in 20the Son of God, who 21loved me and 22gave Himself up for me.
I do not nullify the grace of God, for 23if righteousness comes through 24the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”
