Galatians 2:15-21
“We are 1Jews by nature and not 2sinners from among the Gentiles;
nevertheless knowing that 3a man is not justified by the works of 4the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by 5faith in Christ and not by the works of 6the Law; since 7by the works of 8the Law no 9flesh will be justified.
But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found 10sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin? 11May it never be!
For if I rebuild what I have once destroyed, I 12prove myself to be a transgressor.
For through 13the Law I 14died to 15the Law, so that I might live to God.
I have been 16crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but 17Christ lives in me; and 18the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in 19the Son of God, who 20loved me and 21gave Himself up for me.
I do not nullify the grace of God, for 22if righteousness comes through 23the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”
