Galatians 1:10-14

10For am I now 1seeking the favor of people, or of God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a 2bond-servant of Christ.

11For 3I would have you know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel which was preached by me is 4not 5of human invention. 12For 6I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a 7revelation of Jesus Christ.

13For you have heard of 8my former way of life in Judaism, how I 9used to persecute 10the church of God beyond measure and 11tried to destroy it; 14and I 12was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries among my 13countrymen, being more extremely zealous for my 14ancestral traditions.
