Ezekiel 11:5-12

5Then the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and He said to me, “Say, ‘This is what the Lord says: “This is how you think, house of Israel, for 1I know 2your 3thoughts. 6You have 4multiplied your slain in this city, and filled its streets with 5them.” 7Therefore, this is what the Lord 6God says: “Your 7slain whom you have laid in the midst of 8the city are the meat and this city is the pot; but 9I will 10bring you out of it. 8You have 11feared a sword; so I will 12bring a sword upon you,” the Lord God declares. 9“And I will bring you out of the midst of 13the city, and hand you over to 14strangers, and 15execute judgments against you. 10You will 16fall by the sword. I will judge you to the 17border of Israel; so you shall know that I am the Lord. 11This city will 18not be a pot for you, nor will you be meat in the midst of it; I will judge you to the border of Israel. 12So you will know that I am the Lord; for you have not walked in My statutes, nor have you 19executed My ordinances, but you have acted in accordance with the ordinances of the 20nations around you.”’”
