Exodus 25:17-20

“And you shall 1make 2an atoning cover of pure gold, 3two and a half cubits 4long and one and a half cubits 5wide.

You shall make two cherubim of gold; make them of hammered work 6at the two ends of the atoning cover.

Make one cherub 7at one end and one cherub 8at the other end; you shall make the cherubim of one piece 9with the atoning cover at its two ends.

And 10the cherubim shall have their wings spread upward, covering the atoning cover with their wings and 11facing one another; the faces of the cherubim are to be turned toward the atoning cover.
