Ephesians 2:12-19
12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, 12excluded from 3the people of Israel, and strangers to 4the covenants of the promise, having 5no hope and 6without God in the world.
13But now in 7Christ Jesus you who 8previously were 9far away 10have 11been brought near 1213by the blood of Christ.
14For He Himself is 14our peace, 15who made both groups into one and broke down the 16barrier of the dividing wall,
1517by 18abolishing 19in His flesh the hostility, which is 20the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might 2122make the two 23one new person, in this way establishing 24peace;
16and that He might 25reconcile them both in 26one body to God through the cross, 27by it having 28put to death the hostility.
17And 29He came and preached 30peace to you who were 31far away, and peace to those who were 32near;
18for through Him we both have 33our access in 34one Spirit to 35the Father.
19So then you are no longer 36strangers and foreigners, but you are 37fellow citizens with the 38saints, and are of 39God’s household,
