Colossians 2:18-23

18Take care that no one keeps 1 2defrauding you of your prize by 3delighting in humility and the worship of the angels, 4taking his stand on visions he has seen, 5 6inflated without cause by his 7fleshly mind, 19and not holding firmly to 8the head, from whom 9the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and 10ligaments, grows with a growth 11which is from God.

20 12If you have died with Christ 13to the 14elementary principles of the world, 15why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to 16decrees, such as, 21“Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!” 22(which all refer 17to things destined to perish 18with use)--in accordance with the 19commandments and teachings of man? 23These are matters which do have the 20appearance of wisdom in 21 22self-made religion and humility and 23severe treatment of the body, but are of no value against 24fleshly indulgence.
