Colossians 1:17-23
17He 12is before all things, and in Him all things 3hold together. 18He is also the 4head of 5the body, the church; and He is 6the beginning, 7the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19For 8it was 9the Father’s good pleasure for all 10the 11fullness to dwell in Him, 20and through Him to 12reconcile all things to Himself, 13whether things on earth or things in 14heaven, having made 15peace through 16the blood of His cross.
21And although you were 17previously alienated and hostile in attitude, engaged in evil deeds, 22yet He has now 18reconciled you in His 19body of flesh through death, in order to 20present you before Him 21holy and blameless and beyond reproach-- 23if indeed you continue in 22the faith firmly 23established and steadfast, and not shifting from the 24hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed 25in all creation under heaven, 26and of which I, Paul, 27was made a 2829minister.
