Thessalonians 1:8-12

1in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who 2do not know God, and to those who 3do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

These people will pay the penalty of 4eternal destruction, 5away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

when He comes to be 6glorified among His 7saints on that 8day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed--because our 9testimony to you was believed.

To this end also we 10pray for you always, that our God will 11consider you worthy of your 12calling, and fulfill every desire for 13goodness and the 14work of faith with power,

so that the 15name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, in accordance with the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
