2 Thessalonians 1:5-8

5This is 1a 2plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be 3considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed are suffering.

64For after all 5it is only right 6for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

7and to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us, 78when the Lord Jesus will be revealed 9from heaven 10with 11His mighty angels

812in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who 13do not know God, and to those who 14do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
