2 Peter 3:14-18

14 1Therefore, 2beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be 3found 4spotless and blameless by Him, at peace,

15and regard the 5patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also 6our beloved brother Paul, 7according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you,

16as also in all his letters, speaking in them of 8these things, 9in which there are some things that are hard to understand, which the untaught and 10unstable distort, as they do also 11the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

17You therefore, 12beloved, knowing this beforehand, 13be on your guard so that you are not carried away by 14the error of 15 16unscrupulous people and 17lose your own 18firm commitment,

18but grow in the grace and 19knowledge of our 20Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 21To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
