2 Peter 3:14-18

14 1Therefore, 2beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be 3found by Him in peace, 4spotless and blameless,

15and regard the 5patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also 6our beloved brother Paul, 7according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you,

16as also in all his letters, speaking in them of 8these things, 9in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and 10unstable distort, as they do also 11the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

17You therefore, 12beloved, knowing this beforehand, 13be on your guard so that you are not carried away by 14the error of 15unprincipled men and 16fall from your own steadfastness,

18but grow in the grace and 17knowledge of our 18Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 19To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
