1 Timothy 1:12-15

12I thank 1Christ Jesus our Lord, who has 2strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, 3putting me into service,

13even though I was previously a blasphemer and a 4persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was 5shown mercy because 6I acted ignorantly in unbelief;

14and the 7grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the 8faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus.

159It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that 10Christ Jesus came into the world to 11save sinners, among whom 12I am foremost.
