1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

15For we say this to you 1by the word of the Lord, that 2we who are alive 3and remain until 4the coming of the Lord will not precede 5those who have fallen asleep.

16For the Lord 6Himself 7will descend from heaven with a 89shout, with the voice of 10the archangel and with the 11trumpet of God, and 12the dead in Christ will rise first.

17Then 13we who are alive, who remain, will be 14caught up together with them 15in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always 16be with the Lord.
