1 Peter 3:18-22

18For 1Christ also 2suffered for sins 3once for all time, the just for the unjust, so that He might 4bring us to God, having been put to death 5in the flesh, but made alive 6in the 7spirit;

19in 8which He also went and made proclamation to the spirits in prison,

20who once were disobedient when the 9patience of God 10kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of 11the ark, in which a few, that is, 12eight 13persons, were brought safely through the water.

2114Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you--15not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God 16for a 17good conscience--through 18the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

2219who is at the right hand of God, 20having gone into heaven, 21after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to Him.
