1 Peter 3:18-22

18For 1Christ also died for sins 2once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might 3bring us to God, having been put to death 4in the flesh, but made alive 5in the 6spirit;

19in 7which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison,

20who once were disobedient, when the 8patience of God 9kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of 10the ark, in which a few, that is, 11eight 12persons, were brought safely through the 13water.

2114Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you--15not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God 16for a 17good conscience--through 18the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

2219who is at the right hand of God, 20having gone into heaven, 21after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to Him.
