1 Kings 12:31-33
31And 1he made houses on high places, and 23appointed priests from 4all the people who were not of the sons of Levi.
32Jeroboam also 5instituted a feast in the eighth month on the fifteenth day of the month, 6like the feast that is in Judah, and he 7went up to the altar. So he did in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves which he had made. And he stationed in Bethel 8the priests of the high places which he had made.
33Then he 9went up to the altar which he had made in Bethel on the fifteenth day in the eighth month, the month that he had 1011devised 12in his own heart; and he 13instituted a feast for the sons of Israel and 14went up to the altar 15to burn 16incense.
