1 John 5:14-21
14This is 1the confidence which we have 2before Him, that, 3if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, 4we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
16If anyone sees his brother or sister 5committing a sin not leading to death, 6he shall ask and 7God will, for him, give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. 8There is sin leading to death; 9I am not saying that he should ask about that. 1710All unrighteousness is sin, and 11there is sin not leading to death.
1812We know that 13no one who has been born of God 14sins; but He who was born of God 15keeps him, and 16the evil one does not 17touch him. 1918We know that 19we are of God, and that 20the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 20And 21we know that 22the Son of God has come, and has 23given us understanding so that we may know 24Him who is true; and we 25are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. 26This is the true God and 27eternal life.
