1 Corinthians 1:21-25

21For since in the wisdom of God 1the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, 2God 3was pleased through the 4foolishness of the 5message preached to 6save those who believe. 22For indeed 7Jews ask for 8signs and Greeks search for wisdom; 23but we preach 910Christ crucified, 11to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles 12foolishness, 24but to those who are 13the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ 14the power of God and 15the wisdom of God. 25For the 16foolishness of God is wiser than mankind, and 17the weakness of God is stronger than mankind.
