1 Corinthians 1:21-25

21For since in the wisdom of God 1the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, 2God was well-pleased through the 3foolishness of the 4message preached to 5save those who believe. 22For indeed 6Jews ask for 7signs and Greeks search for wisdom; 23but we preach 89Christ crucified, 10to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles 11foolishness, 24but to those who are 12the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ 13the power of God and 14the wisdom of God. 25Because the 15foolishness of God is wiser than men, and 16the weakness of God is stronger than men.
