16“But they, our fathersH1, 1actedH2102 arrogantlyH2102; They 23becameH7185H6203 stubbornH7185H6203 and would not listenH8085 to Your commandmentsH4687.17They refusedH3985 to listenH8085, And 4did not rememberH2142 Your wondrousH6381 deedsH6381 whichH834 You had performedH6213 amongH5973 them; So they becameH7185H6203 stubbornH7185H6203 and 5appointedH5414 a leaderH7218 to returnH7725 to their slaveryH5659 6in EgyptH4714. But You are a GodH433 7of forgivenessH5547, GraciousH2587 and compassionateH7349, SlowH750 to angerH639 and aboundingH7227 in lovingkindnessH2617; And You did not forsakeH5800 them.18EvenH637 whenH3588 they 8madeH6213 for themselves A calfH5695 of moltenH4541 metalH4541 And saidH559, ‘ThisH2088 is your GodH430 WhoH834 broughtH5927 you up from EgyptH4714,’ And committedH6213 greatH1419 9blasphemiesH5007,1910You, in Your greatH7227 compassionH7356, Did not forsakeH5800 them in the wildernessH4057; 11The pillarH5982 of cloudH6051 did not leaveH5493H4480H5921 them by dayH3119, To guideH5148 them on their wayH1870, NorH3808 the pillarH5982 of fireH784 by nightH3915, to lightH215 for them the wayH1870 in whichH834 they were to goH1980.2012You gaveH5414 Your goodH2896 SpiritH7307 to instructH7919 them, Your mannaH4478 You did not withholdH4513 from their mouthH6310, And You gaveH5414 them waterH4325 for their thirstH6772.21Indeed, 13fortyH705 yearsH8141 You providedH3557 for them in the wildernessH4057 and they were not in wantH2637; Their clothesH8008 did not wearH1086 out, norH3808 did their feetH7272 swellH1216.22You also gaveH5414 them kingdomsH4467 and peoplesH5971, And allottedH2505 them to them as a 14boundaryH6285. 15They tookH3423 possessionH3423 of the landH776 of SihonH5511 16the kingH4428 of HeshbonH2809 And the landH776 of OgH5747 the kingH4428 of BashanH1316.23You madeH7235 their sonsH1121 numerousH7235 as 17the starsH3556 of heavenH8064, And You broughtH935 them into the landH776 WhichH834 You had toldH559 their fathersH1 to enterH935 and possessH3423.2418So their sonsH1121 enteredH935 and possessedH3423 the landH776. And 19You subduedH3665 beforeH6440 them the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776, the CanaanitesH3669, And You gaveH5414 them into their handH3027, with their kingsH4428 and the peoplesH5971 of the landH776, To doH6213 with them 20as they desiredH7522.2521They capturedH3920 fortifiedH1219 citiesH5892 and a 2223fertileH8082 landH127. They tookH3423 possessionH3423 of 24housesH1004 fullH4392 of everyH3605 goodH2898 thingH2898, HewnH2672 cisternsH953, vineyardsH3754, oliveH2132 grovesH2132, FruitH3978 treesH6086 in abundanceH7230. So they ateH398, were filledH7646 and 25grewH8080 fatH8080, And 26reveledH5727 in Your greatH1419 goodnessH2898.
