Micah 3:3-11

3WhoH834 1eatH398 the fleshH7607 of my peopleH5971, StripH6584 offH6584 their skinH5785 from them, BreakH6476 their bonesH6106 And 2chopH6566 them up as for the potH5518 And as meatH1320 in a kettleH7037.”4ThenH227 they will 3cryH2199 out to the LordH3068, But He will not answerH6030 them. Instead, He will 4hideH5641 His faceH6440 from them at that timeH6256 BecauseH834 they have 5practicedH7489 evilH7489 deedsH4611.

5ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068 concerningH5921 the prophetsH5030 who 6leadH8582 my peopleH5971 astrayH8582; When they have something to biteH5391 with their teethH8127, They 7cryH7121, “PeaceH7965,” But againstH5921 him whoH834 putsH5414 nothingH3808 in their mouthsH6310 They declareH6942 holyH6942 warH4421.6ThereforeH3651 it will be 8nightH3915 for you--withoutH4480 visionH2377, And darknessH2825 for you--withoutH4480 divinationH7080. The 9sunH8121 will goH935 down on the prophetsH5030, And the dayH3117 will becomeH6937 darkH6937 overH5921 them.7The seersH2374 will be 10ashamedH954 And the 11divinersH7080 will be embarrassedH2659. Indeed, they will allH3605 12coverH5844 their 13mouthsH8222 BecauseH3588 thereH369 is 14noH369 answerH4617 from GodH430.8On the otherH199 handH199 15I am filledH4390 with powerH3581-- With the SpiritH7307 of the LordH3068-- And with justiceH4941 and courageH1369 To 16makeH5046 knownH5046 to JacobH3290 his rebelliousH6588 actH6588, Even to IsraelH3478 his sinH2403.9NowH4994 hearH8085 thisH2088, 17headsH7218 of the houseH1004 of JacobH3290 And rulersH7101 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, Who 18abhorH8581 justiceH4941 And twistH6140 everythingH3605 that is straightH3477,10Who 19buildH1129 ZionH6726 with bloodshedH1818 And JerusalemH3389 with violentH5767 injusticeH5767.11Her leadersH7218 pronounceH8199 20judgmentH8199 for a bribeH7810, Her 21priestsH3548 instructH3384 for a priceH4242 And her prophetsH5030 divineH7080 for moneyH3701. Yet they leanH8172 on the LordH3068 sayingH559, “22Is not the LordH3068 in our midstH7130? CalamityH7463 will not comeH935 upon us.”
