Judges 4:8-21
8Then BarakH1301 saidH559 to her, “IfH518 you will goH1980 with me, then I will goH1980; but ifH518 you will not goH1980 with me, I will not goH1980.” 9She saidH559, “I will surelyH1980 goH1980 with you; neverthelessH657H3588, the honorH8597 shall not be yours on the journeyH1870 that you are about to takeH1980, 1for the LordH3068 will sellH4376 SiseraH5516 into the handsH3027 of a womanH802.” Then DeborahH1683 aroseH6965 and wentH1980 with BarakH1301 to KedeshH6943. 10BarakH1301 calledH2199 2ZebulunH2074 and NaphtaliH5321 togetherH2199 to KedeshH6943, and tenH6235 thousandH505 menH376 wentH5927 up 34with him; DeborahH1683 also wentH5927 up with him.
11Now HeberH2268 5the KeniteH7017 had separatedH6504 himself from the KenitesH7014, from the sonsH1121 of HobabH2246 the father-in-lawH2860 of MosesH4872, and had pitchedH5186 his tentH168 as farH5704 away as the 6oakH436 in 7ZaanannimH6815, whichH834 is nearH854 KedeshH6943.
12Then they toldH5046 SiseraH5516 that BarakH1301 the sonH1121 of AbinoamH42 had goneH5927 up to MountH2022 TaborH8396. 13SiseraH5516 calledH2199 togetherH2199 allH3605 his chariotsH7393, 8nineH8672 hundredH3967 ironH1270 chariotsH7393, and allH3605 the peopleH5971 whoH834 were with him, from 9Harosheth-hagoyimH2800H1471 to the riverH5158 KishonH7028. 14DeborahH1683 saidH559 to BarakH1301, “AriseH6965! For thisH2088 is the dayH3117 in whichH834 the LordH3068 has givenH5414 SiseraH5516 into your handsH3027; 10beholdH3808, 11the LordH3068 has goneH3318 out beforeH6440 you.” So BarakH1301 wentH3381 downH3381 from MountH2022 TaborH8396 with tenH6235 thousandH505 menH376 followingH310 him. 1512The LordH3068 13routedH2000 SiseraH5516 and allH3605 his chariotsH7393 and allH3605 his armyH4264 with the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719 beforeH6440 BarakH1301; and SiseraH5516 alightedH3381 from his chariotH4818 and fledH5127 away on footH7272. 16But BarakH1301 pursuedH7291 the chariotsH7393 and the armyH4264 as farH5704 as Harosheth-hagoyimH2800H1471, and allH3605 the armyH4264 of SiseraH5516 fellH5307 by the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719; 14not evenH5704 oneH259 was leftH7604.
17Now SiseraH5516 fledH5127 away on footH7272 to the tentH168 of JaelH3278 the wifeH802 of HeberH2268 the KeniteH7017, for there was peaceH7965 betweenH996 JabinH2985 the kingH4428 of HazorH2674 and the houseH1004 of HeberH2268 the KeniteH7017. 18JaelH3278 wentH3318 out to meetH7122 SiseraH5516, and saidH559 to him, “TurnH5493 asideH5493, my masterH113, turnH5493 asideH5493 to me! Do not be afraidH3372.” And he turnedH5493 asideH5493 to her into the tentH168, and she coveredH3680 him with a 15rugH8063. 1916He saidH559 to her, “PleaseH4994 giveH8248 me a littleH4592 waterH4325 to drinkH8248, for I am thirstyH6770.” So she openedH6605 a 17bottleH4997 of milkH2461 and gaveH8248 him a drinkH8248; then she coveredH3680 him. 20He saidH559 to her, “StandH5975 in the doorwayH6607 of the tentH168, and it shall be ifH518 anyoneH376 comesH935 and inquiresH7592 of you, and saysH559, ‘Is thereH3426 anyoneH376 hereH6311?’ that you shall sayH559, ‘NoH369.’” 21But JaelH3278, Heber’sH2268 wifeH802, 18tookH3947 a tentH168 pegH3489 and 19seizedH7760 a hammerH4717 in her handH3027, and wentH935 secretlyH3909 to him and droveH8628 the pegH3489 into his templeH7541, and it wentH6795 throughH6795 into the groundH776; for he was soundH7290 asleepH7290 and exhaustedH5888. So he diedH4191.
