Joshua 17:15-18
JoshuaH3091 saidH559 to them, “IfH518 you are a numerousH7227 peopleH5971, goH5927 1up to the forestH3293 and 2clearH1254 a place for yourself thereH8033 in the landH776 of the PerizzitesH6522 and of the RephaimH7497, sinceH3588 the hillH2022 countryH2022 of EphraimH669 is too narrowH213 for you.”
The sonsH1121 of JosephH3130 saidH559, “The hillH2022 countryH2022 is not enoughH4672 for us, and allH3605 the CanaanitesH3669 who liveH3427 in the valleyH6010 landH776 have 3chariotsH7393 of ironH1270, both those whoH834 are in Beth-sheanH1052 and its townsH1323 and those whoH834 are in the valleyH6010 of JezreelH3157.”
JoshuaH3091 spokeH559 to the houseH1004 of JosephH3130, to EphraimH669 and ManassehH4519, sayingH559, “You are a numerousH7227 peopleH5971 and have greatH1419 powerH3581; you shall not haveH1961 oneH259 lotH1486 only,
but the hillH2022 countryH2022 shall be yours. For though it is a forestH3293, you shall 4clearH1254 it, and to its 5farthestH8444 bordersH8444 it shall be yours; for you shall 6driveH3423 out the CanaanitesH3669, evenH3588 thoughH3588 they have 7chariotsH7393 of ironH1270 and thoughH3588 they are strongH2389.”
