Amos 9:1-5
1I sawH7200 the LordH136 standingH5324 besideH5921 the 1altarH4196, and He saidH559, “SmiteH5221 the capitalsH3730 so that the 2thresholdsH5592 will shakeH7493, And 3breakH1214 them on the headsH7218 of them allH3605! Then I will 4slayH2026 the restH319 of them with the swordH2719; They will 5not have a fugitiveH5127 who will fleeH5127, Or a refugeeH6412 who will escapeH4422.2ThoughH518 they digH2864 into 6SheolH7585, From thereH8033 will My handH3027 takeH3947 them; And thoughH518 they 7ascendH5927 to heavenH8064, From thereH8033 will I bringH3381 them downH3381.3ThoughH518 they hideH2244 on the summitH7218 of CarmelH3760, I will 8searchH2664 them out and takeH3947 them from thereH8033; And thoughH518 they 9concealH5641 themselves from My sightH5869 on the floorH7172 of the seaH3220, From thereH8033 I will commandH6680 the 10serpentH5175 and it will biteH5391 them.4And thoughH518 they goH1980 into 11captivityH7628 beforeH6440 their enemiesH340, From thereH8033 I will commandH6680 the swordH2719 that it slayH2026 them, And I will 12setH7760 My eyesH5869 againstH5921 them for evilH7463 and not for goodH2899.”
5The LordH136 13GodH3068 of hostsH6635, The One who 14touchesH5060 the landH776 so that it meltsH4127, And 15allH3605 those who dwellH3427 in it mournH56, And allH3605 of it risesH5927 up like the NileH2975 And subsidesH8257 like the NileH2975 of EgyptH4714;
