24‘By theseוּלְאֵ֖לֶּהu.le.'E.lehH428,moreover, you will be madeתִּטַּמָּ֑אוּti.ta.Ma.'uH2930uncleanיִטְמָ֥אyit.Ma'H2930:whoeverכָּל־kol-H3605touchesהַנֹּגֵ֥עַha.no.Ge.a'H5060their carcassesבְּנִבְלָתָ֖םbe.niv.la.TamH5038becomesH2930uncleanH2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָֽרֶב׃ha.'A.revH6153,

25andwhoeverוְכָל־ve.kholH3605picksהַנֹּשֵׂ֖אha.no.Se'H5375up anyH4480of their carcassesמִנִּבְלָתָ֑םmi.niv.la.TamH5038shall washיְכַבֵּ֥סye.kha.BesH3526his clothesבְּגָדָ֖יוbe.ga.DavH899and be uncleanוְטָמֵ֥אve.ta.Me'H2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָֽרֶב׃ha.'A.revH6153.

26Concerning allלְֽכָל־le.kholH3605the animalsהַבְּהֵמָ֡הha.be.he.MahH929whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834divideמַפְרֶ֨סֶתmaf.Re.setH6536the hoofפַּרְסָ֜הpar.SahH6541but do not makeH8156a splitH8156hoof,or which do not chewמַעֲלָ֔הma.'a.LahH5927cudוְגֵרָה֙ve.ge.RahH1625,they are uncleanטְמֵאִ֥יםte.me.'ImH2931to you: whoeverכָּל־kol-H3605touchesהַנֹּגֵ֥עַha.no.Ge.a'H5060them becomesH2930uncleanיִטְמָֽא׃yit.Ma'H2930.

27Also whateverוְכֹ֣ל׀ve.KholH3605walksהוֹלֵ֣ךְho.LekhH1980on its pawsכַּפָּ֗יוka.PavH3709,among allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the creaturesH2421that walkהַהֹלֶ֣כֶתha.ho.Le.khetH1980on allfoursאַרְבַּ֔ע'ar.Ba'H702,are uncleanטְמֵאִ֥יםte.me.'ImH2931to you; whoeverכָּל־kol-H3605touchesהַנֹּגֵ֥עַha.no.Ge.a'H5060their carcassesבְּנִבְלָתָ֖םbe.niv.la.TamH5038becomesH2930uncleanיִטְמָ֥אyit.Ma'H2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָֽרֶב׃ha.'A.revH6153,

28and the one who picksוְהַנֹּשֵׂא֙ve.ha.no.Se'H5375up their carcassesנִבְלָתָ֔םniv.la.TamH5038shall washיְכַבֵּ֥סye.kha.BesH3526his clothesבְּגָדָ֖יוbe.ga.DavH899and be uncleanוְטָמֵ֣אve.ta.Me'H2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָ֑רֶבha.'A.revH6153;they are uncleanטְמֵאִ֥יםte.me.'ImH2931to you.

29‘Now theseוְזֶ֤הve.ZehH2088are to you the uncleanהַטָּמֵ֔אha.ta.Me'H2931among the swarmingבַּשֶּׁ֖רֶץba.She.retzH8318thingsH8318which swarmהַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץha.sho.RetzH8317on the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776:the moleהַחֹ֥לֶדha.Cho.ledH2467,and the mouseוְהָעַכְבָּ֖רve.ha.'akh.BarH5909, and thegreatH6632lizardH6632in its kindsלְמִינֵֽהוּ׃le.mi.Ne.huH4327,

30and the geckoוְהָאֲנָקָ֥הve.ha.'a.na.KahH604, and thecrocodileוְהַכֹּ֖חַve.ha.Ko.achH3581,and the lizardוְהַלְּטָאָ֑הve.ha.le.ta.'AhH3911, and thesandH2546reptileH2546,and the chameleonוְהַתִּנְשָֽׁמֶת׃ve.ha.tin.Sha.metH8580.

31Theseאֵ֛לֶּה'E.lehH428are to you the uncleanהַטְּמֵאִ֥יםha.te.me.'ImH2931among allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the swarmingהַשָּׁ֑רֶץha.Sha.retzH8318thingsH8318;whoeverכָּל־kol-H3605touchesהַנֹּגֵ֧עַha.no.Ge.a'H5060them when they are deadבְּמֹתָ֖םbe.mo.TamH4194becomesH2930uncleanיִטְמָ֥אyit.Ma'H2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָֽרֶב׃ha.'A.revH6153.

34Anyמִכָּל־mi.kolH4480 H3605of thefoodהָאֹ֜כֶלha.'O.khelH400whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834may be eatenיֵאָכֵ֗לye.'a.KhelH398,on whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325comesיָב֥וֹאya.Vo'H935,shall becomeH2930uncleanיִטְמָ֑אyit.Ma'H2930,and anyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605liquidמַשְׁקֶה֙mash.KehH4945whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834may be drunkיִשָּׁתֶ֔הyi.sha.TehH8354in everyבְּכָל־be.kholH3605vesselכְּלִ֖יke.LiH3627shall becomeH2930uncleanיִטְמָֽא׃yit.Ma'H2930.

35Everythingוְ֠כֹלVe.kholH3605,moreover, on whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834part of their carcassמִנִּבְלָתָ֥ם׀mi.niv.la.TamH5038may fallיִפֹּ֨לyi.PolH5307becomesH2930uncleanיִטְמָא֒yit.Ma'H2930;an ovenתַּנּ֧וּרta.NurH8574or astoveוְכִירַ֛יִםve.khi.Ra.yimH3600shall be smashedיֻתָּ֖ץyu.TatzH5422;they are uncleanטְמֵאִ֣יםte.me.'ImH2931and shall continueיִהְי֥וּyih.YuH1961as uncleanוּטְמֵאִ֖יםu.te.me.'ImH2931to you.

36Neverthelessאַ֣ךְ'akhH389a springמַעְיָ֥ןma'.YanH4599or a cisternוּב֛וֹרu.VorH953collectingמִקְוֵה־mik.veh-H4723waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325shall be cleanטָה֑וֹרta.HorH2889,though the one who touchesוְנֹגֵ֥עַve.no.Ge.a'H5060their carcassבְּנִבְלָתָ֖םbe.niv.la.TamH5038shall be uncleanיִטְמָֽא׃yit.Ma'H2930.

37Ifוְכִ֤יve.KhiH3588a part of their carcassמִנִּבְלָתָ֔םmi.niv.la.TamH5038fallsיִפֹּל֙yi.PolH5307on anyכָּל־kol-H3605seedזֶ֥רַעZe.ra'H2233for sowingזֵר֖וּעַze.Ru.a'H2221whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is to be sownיִזָּרֵ֑עַyi.za.Re.a'H2232,it is cleanטָה֖וֹרta.HorH2889.

38Though ifוְכִ֤יve.KhiH3588waterמַ֙יִם֙ma.yimH4325is putיֻתַּן־yu.tan-H5414on the seedזֶ֔רַעZe.ra'H2233and a part of their carcassמִנִּבְלָתָ֖םmi.niv.la.TamH5038fallsוְנָפַ֥לve.na.FalH5307on it, it is uncleanטָמֵ֥אta.Me'H2931to you.
