5When he had setוַיַּבְעֶר־vai.yav.'er-H1197fireאֵשׁ֙'eshH784to the torchesבַּלַּפִּידִ֔יםba.la.pi.DimH3940,he releasedוַיְשַׁלַּ֖חvay.sha.LachH7971the foxes into the standingבְּקָמ֣וֹתbe.ka.MotH7054grainקָמָ֖הka.MahH7054of the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑יםpe.lish.TimH6430,thus burningוַיַּבְעֵ֛רvai.yav.'ErH1197up bothH4480the shocksמִגָּדִ֥ישׁmi.ga.DishH1430and the standingH7054grainH7054,alongH5704with the vineyardsכֶּ֥רֶםKe.remH3754andgrovesזָֽיִת׃Za.yitH2132.

6Then the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּים֮fe.lish.TimH6430saidוַיֹּאמְר֣וּvai.yo.me.RuH559, “Whoמִ֣יmiH4310didעָ֣שָׂה'A.sahH6213thisH2088?”And they saidוַיֹּאמְר֗וּvai.yo.me.RuH559, “Samsonשִׁמְשׁוֹן֙shim.shOnH8123,the son-in-lawחֲתַ֣ןcha.TanH2860of the Timniteהַתִּמְנִ֔יha.tim.NiH8554,becauseכִּ֚יkiH3588he tookלָקַ֣חla.KachH3947his wifeאִשְׁתּ֔וֹ'ish.ToH802and gaveוַֽיִּתְּנָ֖הּvai.yi.te.NahH5414her to his companionלְמֵרֵעֵ֑הוּle.me.re.'E.huH4828.”So the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֔יםfe.lish.TimH6430cameוַיַּעֲל֣וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927up andburnedוַיִּשְׂרְפ֥וּvai.yis.re.FuH8313her and her fatherאָבִ֖יהָ'a.Vi.haH1with fireבָּאֵֽשׁ׃ba.'EshH784.

7Samsonשִׁמְשׁ֔וֹןshim.ShonH8123saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to them, “Sinceאִֽם־'im-H518you actתַּעֲשׂ֖וּןta.'a.SunH6213like thisH2088,I will surelyכִּ֛י אִם־ki 'im-H3588 H518takeH5358revengeH5358on you, but afterוְאַחַ֥רve.'a.CharH310that I will quitאֶחְדָּֽל׃'ech.DalH2308.”
