2“Takeקְח֤וּke.ChuH3947for yourselves twelveשְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖רshe.Neim 'a.SarH8147 H6240menאִישׁ־'ish-H376from the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971,oneאֶחָ֥ד'e.ChadH259manאִישׁ־'ish-H376from eachאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH376 H259tribeמִשָּֽׁבֶט׃mi.Sha.vetH7626,

3and commandוְצַוּ֣וּve.tza.VuH6680them, sayingלֵאמֹר֒le.MorH559, ‘Takeשְׂאֽוּ־se.'u-H5375up for yourselves twelveשְׁתֵּים־ עֶשְׂרֵ֣הshe.teim- 'es.RehH8147 H6240stonesאֲבָנִ֑ים'a.va.NimH68from hereמִזֶּ֜הmi.ZehH2088out of the middleמִתּ֣וֹךְmi.TokhH8432of the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּ֗ןhai.yar.DenH3383,from the placeH4673whereH4673the priests’הַכֹּהֲנִ֔יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548feetרַגְלֵ֣יrag.LeiH7272are standingH4673firmהָכִ֖יןha.KhinH3559,and carryH5674them overH5674with you and layH5117them downוְהִנַּחְתֶּ֣םve.hi.nach.TemH5117inthe lodgingבַּמָּל֕וֹןba.ma.LonH4411placeH4411whereH4673you will lodgeתָּלִ֥ינוּta.Li.nuH3885tonightהַלָּֽיְלָה׃ סha.La.ye.lahH3915.’”

6Let thisH2088be a signא֖וֹת'otH226amongבְּקִרְבְּכֶ֑םbe.kir.be.KhemH7130you, so thatwhen your childrenבְּנֵיכֶ֤םbe.nei.KhemH1121askיִשְׁאָל֨וּןyish.'a.LunH7592laterמָחָר֙ma.CharH4279,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, ‘Whatמָ֛הmahH4100do theseהָאֵ֖לֶּהha.'E.lehH428stonesהָאֲבָנִ֥יםha.'a.va.NimH68mean to you?’
