Revelation 6:5-8
5When He broke the third seal, I heard the 1third living creature saying, “Come2.” I looked, and behold, a 3black horse; and he who sat on it had a 4pair of scales in his hand. 6And I heard something like a voice in the center of the 5four living creatures saying, “A 6quart of wheat for a 7denarius, and three 8quarts of barley for a 9denarius; and 10do not damage the oil and the wine.”
7When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the 11fourth living creature saying, “Come12.” 8I looked, and behold, an 1314ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name 15Death; and 16Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, 17to kill with sword and with famine and with 18pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.
