Revelation 3:4-18
4But you have a few 12people in 3Sardis who have not 4soiled their garments; and they will walk with Me 5in white, for they are worthy. 56He who overcomes will thus be clothed in 7white garments; and I will not 8erase his name from the book of life, and 9I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. 610He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
7“And to the angel of the church in 11Philadelphia write:
12He who is holy, 13who is true, who has 14the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this:
8‘15I know your 16deeds. Behold, I have put before you 17an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and 18have not denied My name. 9Behold, I 19will cause those of 20the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie--I will make them 21come and bow down 22at your feet, and make them know that 23I have loved you. 10Because you have 24kept the word of 25My 26perseverance, 27I also will keep you from the hour of 2829testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole 3031world, to 32test 33those who dwell on the earth. 1134I am coming quickly; 35hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your 36crown. 1237He who overcomes, I will make him a 38pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the 39name of My God, and 40the name of the city of My God, 41the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My 42new name. 1343He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
14“To the angel of the church in 44Laodicea write:
45The Amen, 46the faithful and true Witness, 47the 48Beginning of the creation of God, says this:
15‘49I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; 50I wish that you were cold or hot. 16So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will 51spit you out of My mouth. 17Because you say, “52I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, 18I advise you to 53buy from Me 54gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and 55white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that 56the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.
