Revelation 12:9-12

9And the great 1dragon was thrown down, the 2serpent of old who is called the devil and 3Satan, who 4deceives the whole 5world; he was 6thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10Then I heard 7a loud voice in heaven, saying,

“Now the 8salvation, and the power, and the 9kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the 10accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. 11And they 11overcame him because of 12the blood of the Lamb and because of 13the word of their testimony, and they 14did not love their life even 15when faced with death. 12For this reason, 16rejoice, O heavens and 17you who 18dwell in them. 19Woe to the earth and the sea, because 20the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only 21a short time.”
