Revelation 12:6-14

6Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that there 1she would be nourished for 2one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

7And there was war in heaven, 3Michael and his angels waging war with the 4dragon. The dragon and 5his angels waged war, 8and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. 9And the great 6dragon was thrown down, the 7serpent of old who is called the devil and 8Satan, who 9deceives the whole 10world; he was 11thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10Then I heard 12a loud voice in heaven, saying,

“Now the 13salvation, and the power, and the 14kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the 15accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. 11And they 16overcame him because of 17the blood of the Lamb and because of 18the word of their testimony, and they 19did not love their life even 20when faced with death. 12For this reason, 21rejoice, O heavens and 22you who 23dwell in them. 24Woe to the earth and the sea, because 25the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only 26a short time.”

13And when the 27dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted 28the woman who gave birth to the male child. 14But the 29two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly 30into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for 31a time and times and half a time, from the 32presence of the serpent.
