Revelation 1:13-20

13and 1in the middle of the lampstands I saw one 2like 3a son of man, 4clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and 5girded across His chest with a golden sash. 14His head and His 6hair were white like white wool, like snow; and 7His eyes were like a flame of fire. 15His 8feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been made to glow in a furnace, and His 9voice was like the sound of many waters. 16In His right hand He held 10seven stars, and out of His mouth came a 11sharp two-edged sword; and His 12face was like 13the sun 14shining in its strength.

17When I saw Him, I 15fell at His feet like a dead man. And He 16placed His right hand on me, saying, “17Do not be afraid; 18I am the first and the last, 18and the 19living One; and I 2021was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have 22the keys of death and of Hades. 19Therefore 23write 24the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place 25after these things. 20As for the 26mystery of the 27seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the 28seven golden lampstands: the 29seven stars are the angels of 30the seven churches, and the seven 31lampstands are the seven churches.
