Isaiah 55:8-13

8For my thoughtsמַחְשְׁבוֹתַי֙mach.she.vo.TaiH4284arenot your thoughtsמַחְשְׁב֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔םmach.she.Vo.tei.KhemH4284, neither areyour waysדַרְכֵיכֶ֖םdar.khei.KhemH1870my waysדְּרָכָ֑יde.ra.KhaiH1870,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

9For asthe heavensשָׁמַ֖יִםsha.Ma.yimH8064are higherגָבְה֥וּga.ve.HuH1361than the earthמֵאָ֑רֶץme.'A.retzH776,so are my waysדְרָכַי֙de.ra.KhaiH1870higherגָּבְה֤וּga.ve.HuH1361than your waysמִדַּרְכֵיכֶ֔םmi.dar.khei.KhemH1870,and my thoughtsוּמַחְשְׁבֹתַ֖יu.mach.she.vo.TaiH4284than your thoughtsמִמַּחְשְׁבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃mi.mach.she.vo.tei.KhemH4284.

10For as the rainהַגֶּ֨שֶׁםha.Ge.shemH1653cometh downיֵרֵד֩ye.RedH3381,and the snowוְהַשֶּׁ֜לֶגve.ha.She.legH7950from heavenהַשָּׁמַ֗יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and returnethיָשׁ֔וּבya.ShuvH7725not thither, but waterethהִרְוָ֣הhir.VahH7301the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and maketh it bring forthוְהוֹלִידָ֖הּve.ho.li.DahH3205and budוְהִצְמִיחָ֑הּve.hitz.mi.ChahH6779,that it may giveוְנָ֤תַןve.Na.tanH5414seedזֶ֙רַע֙ze.ra'H2233to the sowerלַזֹּרֵ֔עַla.zo.Re.a'H2232,and breadוְלֶ֖חֶםve.Le.chemH3899to the eaterלָאֹכֵֽל׃la.'o.KhelH398:

11So shall my wordדְבָרִי֙de.va.RiH1697be that goeth forthיֵצֵ֣אye.Tze'H3318out of my mouthמִפִּ֔יmi.PiH6310:it shall not returnיָשׁ֥וּבya.ShuvH7725unto me voidרֵיקָ֑םrei.KamH7387,but it shall accomplishעָשָׂה֙'a.SahH6213that which I pleaseחָפַ֔צְתִּיcha.Fatz.tiH2654,and it shall prosperוְהִצְלִ֖יחַve.hitz.Li.achH6743in the thingwhereto I sentשְׁלַחְתִּֽיו׃she.lach.TivH7971it.

12For ye shall go outתֵצֵ֔אוּte.Tze.'uH3318with joyבְשִׂמְחָ֣הve.sim.ChahH8057,and be led forthתּֽוּבָל֑וּןtu.va.LunH2986with peaceוּבְשָׁל֖וֹםu.ve.sha.LomH7965:the mountainsהֶהָרִ֣יםhe.ha.RimH2022and the hillsוְהַגְּבָע֗וֹתve.ha.ge.va.'otH1389shall break forthיִפְצְח֤וּyif.tze.ChuH6476beforeלִפְנֵיכֶם֙lif.nei.KhemH6440you into singingרִנָּ֔הri.NahH7440,and all the treesעֲצֵ֥י'a.TzeiH6086of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֖הha.sa.DehH7704shall clapיִמְחֲאוּ־yim.cha.'u-H4222theirhandsכָֽף׃KhafH3709.

13Instead of the thornהַֽנַּעֲצוּץ֙ha.na.'a.TzutzH5285shall come upיַעֲלֶ֣הya.'a.LehH5927the fir treeבְר֔וֹשׁve.Ro.oshH1265,and instead of the brierהַסִּרְפַּ֖דha.sir.PadH5636shall come upיַעֲלֶ֣הya.'a.LehH5927the myrtle treeהֲדַ֑סha.DasH1918:and it shall be to the Lordלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068for a nameלְשֵׁ֔םle.ShemH8034,for an everlastingעוֹלָ֖םo.LamH5769signלְא֥וֹתle.'otH226thatshall not be cut offיִכָּרֵֽת׃ סyi.ka.RetH3772.
