1Then we turnedוַנֵּ֣פֶןva.Ne.fenH6437,and went upוַנַּ֔עַלva.Na.'alH5927the wayדֶּ֖רֶךְDe.rekhH1870to Bashanהַבָּשָׁ֑ןha.ba.ShanH1316:and Ogעוֹג֩'OgH5747the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Bashanהַבָּשָׁ֨ןha.ba.ShanH1316came outוַיֵּצֵ֣אvai.ye.Tze'H3318againstH7125us, he and all his peopleעַמּ֛וֹa.MoH5971,to battleלַמִּלְחָמָ֖הla.mil.cha.MahH4421at Edreiאֶדְרֶֽעִי׃'ed.Re.'iH154.

2And the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto me, Fearתִּירָ֣אti.Ra'H3372him not: for I will deliverנָתַ֧תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414him, and all his peopleעַמּ֖וֹa.MoH5971,and his landאַרְצ֑וֹ'ar.TzoH776,into thy handבְיָדְךָ֞ve.ya.de.KhaH3027;and thou shalt doוְעָשִׂ֣יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213unto him as thou didstעָשִׂ֗יתָ'a.Si.taH6213unto Sihonלְסִיחֹן֙le.si.ChonH5511kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the Amoritesהָֽאֱמֹרִ֔יha.'e.mo.RiH567,which dweltיוֹשֵׁ֖בyo.ShevH3427at Heshbonבְּחֶשְׁבּֽוֹן׃be.chesh.BonH2809.

3So the Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֜ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430deliveredוַיִּתֵּן֩vai.yi.TenH5414into our handsבְּיָדֵ֗נוּbe.ya.De.nuH3027Ogע֥וֹגogH5747also, the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Bashanהַבָּשָׁ֖ןha.ba.ShanH1316,and all his peopleעַמּ֑וֹa.MoH5971:and we smoteוַנַּכֵּ֕הוּva.na.Ke.huH5221him until none was leftהִשְׁאִֽיר־hish.'ir-H7604to him remainingשָׂרִֽיד׃sa.RidH8300.

4And we tookוַנִּלְכֹּ֤דva.nil.KodH3920all his citiesעָרָיו֙'a.RavH5892at that timeבָּעֵ֣תba.'EtH6256,there was not a cityקִרְיָ֔הkir.YahH7151which we tookלָקַ֖חְנוּla.Kach.nuH3947not from them, threescoreשִׁשִּׁ֥יםshi.ShimH8346citiesעִיר֙'irH5892,all the regionחֶ֣בֶלChe.velH2256of Argobאַרְגֹּ֔ב'ar.GoH709,the kingdomמַמְלֶ֥כֶתmam.Le.khetH4467of Ogע֖וֹגogH5747in Bashanבַּבָּשָֽׁן׃ba.ba.ShanH1316.

5All these citiesעָרִ֧ים'a.RimH5892werefencedבְּצֻר֛וֹתbe.tzu.RotH1219with highגְבֹהָ֖הge.vo.HahH1364wallsחוֹמָ֥הcho.MahH2346,gatesדְּלָתַ֣יִםde.la.Ta.yimH1817,and barsוּבְרִ֑יחַu.ve.Ri.achH1280;beside unwalledהַפְּרָזִ֖יha.pe.ra.ZiH6521townsמֵעָרֵ֥יme.'a.ReiH5892a greatמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966manyהַרְבֵּ֥הhar.BehH7235.

6And we utterly destroyedוַנַּחֲרֵ֣םva.na.cha.RemH2763them, as we didעָשִׂ֔ינוּ'a.Si.nuH6213unto Sihonלְסִיחֹ֖ןle.si.ChonH5511kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Heshbonחֶשְׁבּ֑וֹןchesh.BonH2809,utterly destroyingהַחֲרֵם֙ha.cha.RemH2763the menמְתִ֔םme.TimH4962,womenהַנָּשִׁ֖יםha.na.ShimH802,and childrenוְהַטָּֽף׃ve.ha.TafH2945,of every cityעִ֣יר'irH5892.

7But all the cattleהַבְּהֵמָ֛הha.be.he.MahH929,and the spoilוּשְׁלַ֥לu.she.LalH7998of the citiesהֶעָרִ֖יםhe.'a.RimH5892,we took for a preyבַּזּ֥וֹנוּba.Zo.nuH962to ourselves.

8And we tookH3947at that timeבָּעֵ֤תba.'EtH6256outH3947of the handמִיַּ֗דmi.YadH3027of the twoשְׁנֵי֙she.NeiH8147kingsמַלְכֵ֣יmal.KheiH4428of the Amoritesהָאֱמֹרִ֔יha.'e.mo.RiH567the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776that wason this sideבְּעֵ֣בֶרbe.'E.verH5676Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּ֑ןhai.yar.DenH3383,from the riverמִנַּ֥חַלmi.Na.chalH5158of Arnonאַרְנֹ֖ן'ar.NonH769unto mountהַ֥רharH2022Hermonחֶרְמֽוֹן׃cher.MonH2768;

9(WhichHermonלְחֶרְמ֖וֹןle.cher.MonH2768the Sidoniansצִידֹנִ֛יםtzi.do.NimH6722callיִקְרְא֥וּyik.re.'UH7121Sirionשִׂרְיֹ֑ןsir.YonH8303;and the Amoritesוְהָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔יve.Ha.'e.mo.RiH567callיִקְרְאוּ־yik.re.'u-H7121it Shenirשְׂנִֽיר׃se.NirH8149;)

10All the citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of the plainהַמִּישֹׁ֗רha.mi.ShorH4334,and all Gileadהַגִּלְעָד֙ha.gil.'AdH1568,and all Bashanהַבָּשָׁ֔ןha.ba.ShanH1316,unto Salchahסַלְכָ֖הsal.KhahH5548and Edreiוְאֶדְרֶ֑עִיve.'ed.Re.'iH154,citiesעָרֵ֛י'a.ReiH5892of the kingdomמַמְלֶ֥כֶתmam.Le.khetH4467of Ogע֖וֹגogH5747in Bashanבַּבָּשָֽׁן׃ba.ba.ShanH1316.

11For only Ogע֞וֹגogH5747kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Bashanהַבָּשָׁ֗ןha.ba.ShanH1316remainedנִשְׁאַר֮nish.'ArH7604of the remnantמִיֶּ֣תֶרmi.Ye.terH3499of giantsהָרְפָאִים֒ha.re.fa.'ImH7497;behold, his bedsteadעַרְשׂוֹ֙ar.SoH6210wasa bedsteadעֶ֣רֶשׂ'E.resH6210of ironבַּרְזֶ֔לbar.ZelH1270; isit notהֲלֹ֣הha.LohH3808in Rabbathבְּרַבַּ֖תbe.ra.BatH7237of the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Ammonעַמּ֑וֹןa.MonH5983?nineתֵּ֧שַׁעTe.sha'H8672cubitsאַמּ֣וֹת'a.MotH520wasthe lengthאָרְכָּ֗הּ'a.re.KahH753thereof, and fourוְאַרְבַּ֥עve.'ar.Ba'H702cubitsאַמּ֛וֹת'a.MotH520the breadthרָחְבָּ֖הּra.che.BahH7341of it, after the cubitבְּאַמַּת־be.'a.mat-H520of a manאִֽישׁ׃'IshH376.

12And this landהָאָ֧רֶץha.'A.retzH776, whichwe possessedיָרַ֖שְׁנוּya.Rash.nuH3423at that timeבָּעֵ֣תba.'EtH6256,from Aroerמֵעֲרֹעֵ֞רme.'a.ro.'ErH6177, which isby the riverנַ֣חַלNa.chalH5158Arnonאַרְנֹ֗ן'ar.NonH769,and halfוַחֲצִ֤יva.cha.TziH2677mountהַֽר־har-H2022Gileadהַגִּלְעָד֙ha.gil.'AdH1568,and the citiesוְעָרָ֔יוve.'a.RavH5892thereof, gaveנָתַ֕תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414I unto the Reubenitesלָרֻֽאוּבֵנִ֖יla.ru.'u.ve.NiH7206and to the Gaditesוְלַגָּדִֽי׃ve.la.ga.DiH1425.

13And the restוְיֶ֨תֶרve.Ye.terH3499of Gileadהַגִּלְעָ֤דha.gil.'AdH1568,and all Bashanהַבָּשָׁן֙ha.ba.ShanH1316, beingthe kingdomמַמְלֶ֣כֶתmam.Le.khetH4467of Ogע֔וֹגogH5747,gaveנָתַ֕תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414I unto the halfלַחֲצִ֖יla.cha.TziH2677tribeשֵׁ֣בֶטShe.vetH7626of Manassehהַֽמְנַשֶּׁ֑הham.na.ShehH4519;all the regionחֶ֤בֶלChe.velH2256of Argobהָֽאַרְגֹּב֙ha.'ar.GoH709,with all Bashanהַבָּשָׁ֔ןha.ba.ShanH1316,whichהַה֥וּאha.Hu'H1931was calledיִקָּרֵ֖אyi.ka.Re'H7121the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of giantsרְפָאִֽים׃re.fa.'ImH7497.
