47So Saulוְשָׁא֛וּלve.sha.'UlH7586tookלָכַ֥דla.KhadH3920the kingdomהַמְּלוּכָ֖הha.me.lu.KhahH4410over Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and foughtוַיִּלָּ֣חֶםvai.yi.La.chemH3898against all his enemiesאֹיְבָ֡יו'o.ye.VavH341on every sideסָבִ֣יב׀sa.VivH5439,against Moabבְּמוֹאָ֣ב׀be.mo.'AvH4124,and against the childrenוּבִבְנֵי־u.viv.nei-H1121of Ammonעַמּ֨וֹןa.MonH5983,and against Edomוּבֶאֱד֜וֹםu.ve.'e.DomH123,and against the kingsוּבְמַלְכֵ֤יu.ve.mal.KheiH4428of Zobahצוֹבָה֙tzo.VahH6678,and against the Philistinesוּבַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔יםu.va.pe.lish.TimH6430:and whithersoever he turnedיִפְנֶ֖הyif.NehH6437himself, he vexedיַרְשִֽׁיעַ׃yar.Shi.a'H7561them.

48And he gatheredוַיַּ֣עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213an hostחַ֔יִלCha.yilH2428,and smoteוַיַּ֖ךְvai.YakhH5221the Amalekitesעֲמָלֵ֑ק'a.ma.LekH6002,and deliveredוַיַּצֵּ֥לvai.ya.TzelH5337Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478out of the handsמִיַּ֥דmi.YadH3027of them that spoiledשֹׁסֵֽהוּ׃ סsho.Se.huH8154them.

49Now the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Saulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586were Jonathanיוֹנָתָ֥ןyo.na.TanH3129,and Ishuiוְיִשְׁוִ֖יve.yish.ViH3440,and Melchi–shuaH4444:and the namesוְשֵׁם֙ve.ShemH8034of his twoשְׁתֵּ֣יshe.TeiH8147daughtersבְנֹתָ֔יוve.no.TavH1323were these;the nameשֵׁ֤םshemH8034of the firstbornהַבְּכִירָה֙ha.be.khi.RahH1067Merabמֵרַ֔בme.RavH4764,and the nameוְשֵׁ֥םve.ShemH8034of the youngerהַקְּטַנָּ֖הha.ke.ta.NahH6996Michalמִיכַֽל׃mi.KhalH4324:

50And the nameוְשֵׁם֙ve.ShemH8034of Saul’sשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586wifeאֵ֣שֶׁת'E.shetH802wasAhinoamאֲחִינֹ֖עַם'a.chi.No.'amH293,the daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of Ahimaazאֲחִימָ֑עַץ'a.chi.Ma.'atzH290:and the nameוְשֵׁ֤םve.ShemH8034of the captainשַׂר־sar-H8269of his hostצְבָאוֹ֙tze.va.'OH6635wasAbnerאֲבִינֵ֔ר'a.vi.NerH74,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nerנֵ֖רnerH5369,Saul’sשָׁאֽוּל׃sha.'UlH7586uncleדּ֥וֹדDodH1730.

51And Kishוְקִ֧ישׁve.KishH7027wasthe fatherאֲבִֽי־'a.vi-H1of Saulשָׁא֛וּלsha.'UlH7586;and Nerוְנֵ֥רve.NerH5369the fatherאֲבִֽי־'a.vi-H1of Abnerאַבְנֵ֖ר'av.NerH74wasthe sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Abielאֲבִיאֵֽל׃ ס'a.vi.'ElH22.
