Hebrews 3:6
6But Christ serves in God's house as a son, not as a servant. He is the leader of God's people today. And we are God's people. We belong to his house if we continue to believe in Christ. We must be brave. We must continue to show people clearly that we trust God. He will do what he has promised to do.

Context of Hebrews 3:6
4Every house has someone who built it. But God is the one who has built all things. 5We say that Moses served God well, like a servant in God's house. He took care of all God's people. In this way, Moses showed clearly the message that God would speak later. But Christ serves in God's house as a son, not as a servant. He is the leader of God's people today. And we are God's people. We belong to his house if we continue to believe in Christ. We must be brave. We must continue to show people clearly that we trust God. He will do what he has promised to do. 7God's Holy Spirit says this: ‘You must listen when you hear God speak today. 8Do not refuse to obey him. Do not be like God's people many years ago. When they travelled in the wilderness, they turned against me. They wanted to see if I would punish them.

Commentaries on Hebrews 3:6
- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 6But Christ as a Son over his own house - Moses was faithful as a servant In the house; Jesus was faithful, as the first-born Son, Over the house of which he is the Heir and Governor. Here, then, is the conclusion of the argument in reference to Christ's superiority over Moses. Moses did not found the house or family, Christ did; Moses was but in the house, or one of the family, Christ was over the house as its Ruler; Moses was but servant in the house…Read the comment
- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 6But Christ as a Son over his own house - He is not a servant. To the whole household or family of God he sustains the same relation which a son and heir in a family does to the household. That relation is far different from that of a servant. Moses was the latter; Christ was the former. To God he sustained the relation of a Son, and recognized Him as his Father, and sought in all things to do his will; but over the whole family of God - the entire Church…Read the comment
- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 6We belong to God's house if we act courageously. The author could not fully assure those who were drifting away from Christ and the church. Those who continue in faith can be sure they are part of God's house (see Hebrews 3:14; Romans 8:9, 17; 11:22; 2 Corinthians 13:5; Colossians 1:22–23).Read the comment

So He 10:21, "having an High Priest over the house of God." Christ enters His Father's house as the Master [OVER it], but Moses as a servant [IN it, He 3:2, 5] [Chrysostom].
