Hosea 7:9-16

9ForeignersH2114 consumeH398 his strengthH3581, but heH1931 does notH3808 noticeH3045. EvenH1571 his hair is streakedH2236 with grayH7872, but heH1931 does notH3808 knowH3045.10Israel’sH3478 arroganceH1347 testifiesH6030 against themH6440, yet they do notH3808 returnH7725 toH413 the LORDH3068 their GodH430; despite allH3605 thisH2063, they do notH3808 seek HimH1245.

11So EphraimH669 has becomeH1961 like a sillyH6601, senselessH369 H3820 doveH3123—calling outH7121 to EgyptH4714, then turningH1980 to AssyriaH804.12AsH834 they goH1980, I will spreadH6566 My netH7568 over themH5921;I will bring them downH3381 like birdsH5775 of the airH8064.I will chastise themH3256when I hear themH8088 flocking togetherH5712.1

13WoeH188 to them, forH3588 they have strayedH5074 from MeH4480!DestructionH7701 to them, forH3588 they have rebelledH6586 against Me!Though IH595 would redeem themH6299 H1992,they speakH1696 liesH3577 against MeH5921.14They do notH3808 cry outH2199 to MeH413 from their heartsH3820whenH3588 they wailH3213 uponH5921 their bedsH4904.They slash themselvesH1641 2 forH5921 grainH1715 and new wineH8492,but turn awayH5493 from Me.15Although IH589 trainedH3256 and strengthenedH2388 their armsH2220,they plotH2803 evilH7451 against MeH413.16They turnH7725, but notH3808 to the Most HighH5920;they areH1961 like a faultyH7423 bowH7198.Their leadersH8269 will fallH5307 by the swordH2719for the cursingH2195 of their tongueH3956;for thisH2097 they will be ridiculedH3933in the landH776 of EgyptH4714.
