22Then a floodH7858 of forcesH2220 will be swept awayH7857 before himH6440 and destroyedH7665, along withH1571 a princeH5057 of the covenantH1285.
23AfterH4480 an alliance is madeH2266 with himH413, he will actH6213 deceitfullyH4820; for he will riseH5927 to powerH6105 with only a fewH4592 peopleH1471. 24In a time of peaceH7962, he will invadeH935 the richestH4924 provincesH4082 and doH6213 whatH834 his fathersH1 and forefathersH1 neverH3808 didH6213. He will lavishH967 plunderH961, lootH7998, and wealthH7399 on his followers, and he will plotH2803H4284 againstH5921 the strongholdsH4013—but only forH5704 a timeH6256.
