12Forאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834the wealthy of the cityעֲשִׁירֶ֙יהָ֙'a.shi.Rei.haH6223are full ofמָלְא֣וּmal.'UH4390violenceחָמָ֔סcha.MasH2555,and its residentsוְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָve.yo.she.Vei.haH3427speakדִּבְּרוּ־di.be.ru-H1696liesשָׁ֑קֶרSha.kerH8267;their tonguesוּלְשׁוֹנָ֖םu.le.sho.NamH3956are deceitfulרְמִיָּ֥הre.mi.YahH7423in their mouthsבְּפִיהֶֽם׃be.fi.HemH6310.

13Thereforeוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571Iאֲנִ֖י'a.NiH589am striking youהַכּוֹתֶ֑ךָha.ko.Te.khaH5221severelyהֶחֱלֵ֣יתִיhe.che.Lei.tiH2470,to ruin youהַשְׁמֵ֖םhash.MemH8074because ofעַל־'al-H5921your sinsחַטֹּאתֶֽךָ׃cha.to.Te.khaH2403.

14Youאַתָּ֤ה'a.TahH859will eatתֹאכַל֙to.KhalH398but notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808be satisfiedתִשְׂבָּ֔עtis.Ba'H7646,and your hungerוְיֶשְׁחֲךָ֖ve.yesh.cha.KhaH3445will remain with youבְּקִרְבֶּ֑ךָbe.kir.Be.chaH7130.What you acquireוְתַסֵּג֙ve.ta.SegH5253,you will notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808preserveתַפְלִ֔יטtaf.LitH6403;and whatוַאֲשֶׁ֥רva.'a.SherH834you saveתְּפַלֵּ֖טte.fa.LetH6403,I will giveאֶתֵּֽן׃'e.TenH5414to the swordלַחֶ֥רֶבla.Che.revH2719.
